90 Day in home workout advice needed

Hi -- I am 6 months post-op reconstructive knee surgery after I dislocated it while playing tennis. I have just been cleared to work out (was PT for first 3 months then walking, elliptical and stationary bike the last 3 months). I have decided I would like a workout series that does not involve a lot of apparatus (hand weights are fine) and I'd like to keep it around 20-30 minutes a day. Any advice/suggestions? Jillian body revolution? Cathe xtrain? Shaun insanity? Something else? ... Thanks in advance.

6 months post op from reconstruction? Stay far far away from Insanity!! There is so much jumping and side to side quick movements in there you would run a serious risk of reinjuring that knee. I have no knee problems and it puts a strain on mine.

I agree with staying far away from Insanity this soon. What about something like P90X? You need weights or bands, but that's it. Those are long workouts, though. You could start out with 30 Day Shred, too.

I didn't think of the 30ds -- I have it here. Maybe that is a good place to start. Thanks for the replies.

No dice on 30DS it is notorious for trashing knees!

How about a medicine ball workout?
