YAY!! Success!!

I have been counting my calories for 3 weeks and with nothing but a slight increase in weight I have FINALLY lost 1.6 pounds this week! YAY! I'm not exactly sure how it happened, because it was my birthday an I know I had a few pieces of cake lol I did add in more working out though.

I am very happy today

That happens to me, too. Low calorie intake for weeks will result in no change, but then I break down and eat a pint of Ben & Jerry's or something and the scale drops overnight. It's like my body says "Finally - the famine's over" and lets some fat go. Now I've incorporated high calorie days into my routine (usually once a week) and it's really helped keep things moving in the right direction. And happy birthday fellow Aries! Mine was on Tuesday.

Great job! It feels amazing to lose weight and knowing that all your hard work is paying off. My husband thinks I'm crazy when I'm jumping up and down about a .6 loss lol!

I bet you started exercising too, and as a result have gained some muscle mass. As you know, muscle weights more than fat. Bottom line, don't worry about the scale, go by how your clothes fit and what you look like naked in the mirror.

You were probably not eating enough for your activity level.

Thank you everyone for the encouragement! :) I think it my calorie count may be a little low. I'll try to have a higher calorie day or two during the week. Crazy how that helps
