      nope. because that's still probably under 1000 cal, maybe 1500 cal at most.

      ok we're not turning this into a stupid argument. chickens that are "enhanced" with hormones/antibiotics are bigger than those that aren't. thus why it's done in the first place. y'all are just chomping for a fight. pretty funny.

      It's to shorten the growth cycle and bring them to market quicker, not to make them bigger per se. In Canada growth hormones are not allowed, and a 5 lb chicken is a 5 lb chicken regardless of how it was fed.

      They are banned in the Uk and EU - all our chickens are the same size (you know what I mean) - we don't like to give them a complex :wink:
