A favorite in my house right now is orange banana smoothie
2 bananas
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup sugar (optional, I think it tastes better with it)
2 tablespoons peanut butter
4 ice cubes (if use frozen bananas then skip the ice)
1 cup 2% milk
1 cup orange juice
Blend and enjoy. This makes enough for both kids to have an 8 ounce cup and for me to have a 16 ounce cup.0 -
If you're not opposed to a higher fat content, I make this one several times a week!
3 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp ground flax seed
0.5-1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
5 tbsp water
4 tbsp coconut milk
Handful of ice
You can also add a bit of greek yogurt, half a banana, or a couple strawberries/raspberries to mix things up!0 -
