Okay, so i need support... let me say that again... i need lots of support. My soon to be Husband and i are going to start the Couch to 5K this sunday and we thought we would see if there are any takers. I would love to find people who want to go on a 9 week journey together. Here is a link to the program http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml the best part is it wont cost you anything. Find a local park, school or just head out on to your street. I will be doing Sunday, Tuesday and Fridays as my days but start any time next week and join me.
Thanks Tara

I am in. We should just be finishing by the time school starts, which would be nice to be able to move around campus without worrying about how close I can park.
Your Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday is good for me.0 -
I wasn't planning on starting the couch to 5K until August 1st , but what the heck why wait!! Count me in!! I have a 5K race that I want to run with my adult daughters on November 6 in Chicago called the Hot Chocolate Run. Have you bought your running shoes yet?0

I've been wanting to start C25k! I'll try it!0

I'm in! I would love to start jogging.0

I just started today (again). Today went well, next day will be Thursday.0

As a recent graduate of C25K, I want to wish you all the best. It's hard to find your breath at first but stick to it. It was about week four for me and I found my breath and knew that I would be able to do it. Stick to it guys, I know you can do it. Good luck!0

Sounds like a great idea! I'd like to be included.0

I'm in! But - I am not sure if I can start July 11th. I'm a bit of a nerd so I wanted to be sure I could track my runs. So- I ordered the Nike+ Sport kit and am waiting for it to arrive! I will be starting as soon as it gets here though! I've never been a runner, so I admit I am a bit afraid that I won't even be able to jog for 60 seconds! It doesn't matter though, because I plan on repeating week one as many times as it takes, if I need to!
Here is a podcast I downloaded to run with - it tells you when to change pace so you don't have to look at your watch or anything:

And here's a link to the Nike+ info, if anyone is interested:

I can't wait to start!!0 -

The plan is half way down the first page... you don't have to download the online training program....0

OK, instead of doing the week 1 program, I skipped to week 3 since I feel that I'm fit enough. I used the treadmill since I find it easier on my body than running outside. This was my plan:
1) Walk at 3.5: 0:00-5:00
2) Jog at 5.0: 5:00-6:30
3) Walk at 4.0: 6:30-8:00
4) Jog at 5.0: 8:00-11:00
5) Walk at 4.0: 11:00-14:00
6) Jog at 5.0: 14:00-15:30
7) Walk at 4.0: 15:30-17:00
8) Jog at 5.0: 17:00-20:00
9) Walk at 4.0: 20:00-23:00
10) Walk at 3.5: 23:00-30:00
Wasn't too bad.0 -
I'm in.... now I'm off to see if I can talk my sister into it!0

I'm definitely in! Been wanting to start but have been enjoying my runs on my own but I really want to run a 5k on Halloween so this gives me plenty of time and hopefully I'll be able to focus on my time the months in between finishing C25K and the race.0

I am in! I was just telling a friend that I am starting on Sunday so this works out perfectly.0

Wow, your walk, is pretty much my jog. Well I can get up to 4.5, but I have short legs so they don't go as far :laugh:0
