I can't wait till tomorrow to try some of these suggestions!! Yum!!0

I thought PB2 was just peanuts pressed to remove the oil, resulting in a powder instead of a butter. Nothing else added.
...it's not really fake food...
Just thought I would chime in, but I don't really have any recipe suggestions :P
I used to eat it sometimes and it's best when you want PB taste but don't need the texture to be spot on (smoothies, soups, basically as an ingredient for something else).
But I like normal peanut butter better and I find it more filling because of the fats. I might consider getting PB2 if I find myself making more milkshake type things in the summer0 -
I just bought some few days ago. Thanks for the ideas.
I want to try to make peanut sauce with it. Just mixing it with low sodium soy sauce and chili sauce. It would be delish with fresh vegetable spring rolls. Can't wait to try.0 -
it doesn't have any added sugar. what it has is lots of flavor for fewer calories. if this is not a concern for you...great! for me, it frequently is.
People get so pissy about what other people eat!0 -
http://www.bellplantation.com/recipes is a great site! Thanks. :drinker:0

I have been mixing it with light whipped topping....peanut butter fluff! It is delish and satisfies my sweet tooth!!!0

I've heard of this stuff and I really want to try it, but the 6.5 oz jar you'll see at the grocery store is around 5 bucks! Yikes.
If you look on the website, you can order 4 1lb bags for like $28, which is decent savings.0 -

I look at it suspiciously on the shelf.0

Yeah... you're not going to like my opinion:
Throw it away and buy real peanut butter.0 -
Well....you asked.....
I would throw it in the garbage.
How do you take a wonderful food like peanuts and take out all the good parts and then make it into some bionic powder?
And, more to the point, WHY?????????
Peanut butter is nutritious and delicious and full of minerals your body can use. What IS powdered, low fat, low cal peanut stuff?
WHY??? do you care what anyone else eats? Mellow out. I think everyone knows that peanut butter is yummy and good for you, but obviously it is very high in fat and calories. PB2 is a good option for people trying to lose weight.
For the OP, check out Bell Plantation's site for lots of recipes:

Amen, sister! Couldn't agree more!0 -
PB2 is NOT a substitute for actual peanut butter when I want peanut butter.
BUT, I love it in my protein shakes. less than half the calories of real peanut butter but all the taste.
1 scoop protein powder, 2 TB PB2, 1 cup skim milk, ice, blend for 275 calories
Last night I mixed with low fat cream cheese and spread on graham crackers. Tasted like cheesecake. Nomz0 -

Yes, this!!!0 -
I'd see if my dog would eat.
More than likely she wouldn't.
Then I'd toss it in the garbage.0
