I have done 4 miles of dvd walks--1 Mile WATP this morning after Shredding and WATP for Abs 3 Mile Walk this afternoon. Don't know if I'll get any more done but I sure would like to!0
-
Did 4 miles of WATP's DVD for a total of 58 miles.0

I made the mistake of trying out a new exercise dvd yesterday and I'm paying for it today! Ouch! I found the Slim in 6 workout dvd at a thrift store this weekend and thought I would give it a try. Honestly it's not too bad and some of the moves are just like the WATP workouts, but lots more squats and lunges. I'll pobably do it again when my poor muscles recover a bit but it's definitely something I'll have to work up to slowly! LOL0

So that means between us we have walked about 400 miles so far this month. NICE !!!0 -
Wow guys, can't believe we've walked 400 miles..that's insane:flowerforyou: Congratulations to all of us!
Today I walked another 4 miles from Leslie Sansone's WATP's Ultimate Challenge DVD. Today's the first day I did with my HRM. I was shocked to see that it said I burned 835 calories. I'd not been claiming nearly that many....kind of like an unexpected little gift. Hope everyone is having a blessed day0 -
Wow! 400 miles! That's great!
I did another 4 today--a 1 Mile Walk this morning and then 3 miles of her 5 Mile Fat-Burning Walk.. I meant to do all 5 miles but it got hot so--MAYBE when it cools off.
It's supposed to be hot again tomorrow but I'll get some walking in anyway.0 -
WoooHooo! Congrats to us! Everyone is doing great, keep it up!:drinker:
I got in the 3 mile walk off your waistline this evening!0 -
Hi Folks.
ONLY 6 DAYS TO GO (including today).
Hope your all still walking strong, I've had a bit of a slump, I think its the heat. I decided I needed to do 3 miles yesterday. But I didn't do it, in fact I did nothing, I must walk today, I must.
Come on folks we can all hit our goals if we push and even beat them in some cases, COME ON !!0 -
OK! Thanks for the pep talk, Rob. I've got to get off my butt today! I've been full of excuses lately and im going to be disappointed in myself if I don't finish this out.
Heat and humidity are pretty bad here too though.0 -

WTG Rob! I know what you mean. I did not want to workout today but I made myself do 3 miles. I did not want to hit the weekend with 10 miles left on my ticker.
I just got the 5 mile advanced walk dvd and it's really good if anyone is looking for something new. It's got different combinations you can pick from. The whole 5 miles or 3 different 3 mile combo workouts. I haven't seen any of her dvd's set up like this and it's really nice.0 -
Hey that's great Rob. And Sandy, I know exactly what you mean, there must be something in the air today. I really didn't want to do the 4 mile walk that I had planned to do this evening. Was actually convincing myself on the drive home from work that 2 miles would be fine because I'm so close to me revised goal and besides I've already surpassed my original goal...yada, yada, yada. You know, all those things that little voice tells you that leads you down the wrong path. Well I told my little voice to just keep it's mouth shut and I'm happy to report I just finished my 4 mile work out. I feel sooo much better for having done it. So, 66 miles now complete! Hope you all have a great evening:flowerforyou:0

I did the 5 Mile Advanced Walk today, too. I downloaded it from exercisetv, though, so i have to search through it to do different combinations. I really like it and usually do the whole thing.
My dd's boyfriend gave me a flash drive with a bunch of Leslie's workouts on it. He got it from a friend's wife. There's one that is REALLY different! I've only skimmed through it but she looks very young and does a lot of different moves that don't appear to be in her other videos. I'm not sure yet how many miles it is but it appears to be about an hour long. I'm hoping to check it out better over the weekend.0 -

Let me know if you like it and figure out which workout it is. I like different / new stuff! Keeps me from getting bored.0 -

lol...that damn little voice. It would be so much better if there was just a Mute button for it!0 -
HI EVERYONE.
Hows everyone doing today ? Only 4 days left after today ! I'm sure we are all close to our personal goals.
I did a couple of miles today but I've still got 12 more to reach my target. Thats 3 a day. AAAAhhhhh!!!
Maybe I could do 2 in the morning then 2 late afternoon, that might be easier.
My favourite DVD is the 3 fast Miles with Leslie and her daughter Marie. great fun.
Lets us know your favourite DVD or favourite walk.0 -
I just did another 4 miles of Sansone's Ultimate Challenge DVD. I think so far it's my favorite, but I haven't tried many of her others yet. I did like the WATPs for abs too. Everyone have a great weekend!0
-
I did my first 2 miles of the day, I did the first 2 miles of the 4 fast miles DVD with boosted walking (I didn't jog, just walked even quicker} I'm gonna try and do another couple of miles later today, fingers crossed. Good luck, have a lovely weekend Rob.0
-
I wasn't able to do a "formal" walk yesterday (I don't count my walking at work. If I did I be halfway around the world by now! I use a pedometer at work to keep track and usually average 4-5 miles a day just working)
I don't think I'll make my goal but I'm sure gonna try!0 -
Hello everyone!!! Only 2 miles left for me Can't wait to start next month's challenge!!
For those of you in the UK, where do you get all of the Leslie Sansone DVDs. I have one, but the others I find all state that they are imported from the US. I don't have a multi-region DVD player, so I tend to just stick to the one that I have, but it is getting quite easy now. Thanks for the help in advance!!! :bigsmile:0 -
Got a 2 mile WATP walk done so far--as well as L2 D3 of the 30 Day Shred and Leslie's Fast Firming workout from the Walk Club website. I think I'm going to buy the firming dvd when I can because I really like it (i do wish Leslie offered more of her videos as downloads!)
jodi_bannister --are you able to purchase from exercisetv.tv? If so they have some of her workouts available as downloads. Or you could try searching to see if there is a site that offers her workouts as downloads in the UK.
In the meantime, here are some links to some of her workouts that are online:

These 3 equal her 2 mile Walk Away the Pounds for Abs.

These 2 are 1 mile each. You can create a playlist if you have an account and then you can play them all consecutively. (I have also recently discovered that I can put them on my RealPlayer (free download) and not download the commercials! This is a much smoother transition even than as a youtube playlist.)
And finally, here's a link to her 1, 2, and 3 mile Start Walking workouts:

I did it, I did my second 2 Mile walk of the day, so did 4 miles today my best so far.
Thanks for posting all the links to Leslie's video's.

I only walked 2 miles this evening, not feeling the best today. I may try to do the other 2 miles later, will wait and see. But that brings my total to 72 miles. Hope everyone's having a great Saturday.
Rob, congratulations on completing 4 miles:flowerforyou:
Kathy, thanks so much for sharing all the links with us:happy:0 -
Hi Everyone! Hope your having a great weekend. Robin, I hope you get to feeling better. The heat here is horrible.
A little late in the day but I finally managed to get a little walking in. Did the 4 mile Punch up your Walk. 3 more miles to make my goal for this month. I know this challenge is keeping me walking because I know I wouldn't have walked today if I didn't have my goal to meet by Monday, or is it Tuesday?
I started tracking my WATP miles on March 1st and today I reached 300 miles! YaY! 12 more miles and I will have walked across the state of Georgia. :laugh:0 -
Did the 1 mile Walk Diet workout and 1 mile of the Walk Off Weight video that was on the flash drive my dd's bf gave me--it HAS to be one of her first videos ever. She is so young and does a lot more dance-like moves than she does in most of her videos. There are 2 more segments and I plan on doing them tomorrow.0

Did the last 2 segments of the Walk Off Weight workout. They equal 3 miles (1.5 miles each) and I would definitely rate this as an moderate/advanced workout! (Leslie rates it as a beginner/moderate video but I'm 54, not 25! ) Lots of different moves and the last 2 segments are fairly fast-paced. I thought it was a lot of fun and a really good workout, too!
I was curious about this video so I did some searching. It was originally released in 1992 but I would swear it was made in the 80's. It was rereleased in dvd format and is available from Amazon.com in both VHS and DVD formats.
I hope to get more walking in later and I want to get to the Farmer's Market as I'm getting low on fruits and veggies. Have a good day, everyone!0 -
Made way past my goal so will up it the next time we start new. Did take 3 days off after my surgery and am not walking the entire 5 miles yet but I will be there my next week.0
