I've got back dimples. My husband teases me about them, I think he likes them. My boys have them. Funny I really never thought other people had them and just thought they were a birth defect or something weird. I 'm glad other people have them and they are considered sexy0

I think its something you have or don't have.
I have them, never really thought about it, but love them.0 -
nooo..... Danny you don't. Showboating? Your back looks hot though. ;D
If you're a female..they're more like this -0 -
I have back dimples. But they migrated to my thighs years ago.0

Appearance is the result of hard work0

you can definitely achieve them! It's very hard to find any athlete without them, both men and women! Try lower back strengthening exercises0

I have them and it never went away if I gained weight. I think you either have them or you don't.0

That's so funny... 2 weeks ago mine came back... Only I call them my butt dimples... Of course I had to run and show my husband. They make me happy... Lol0

Haha word.0 -
I was born with them. I think they were even more prominent when I was fat--more flesh around the little indents.0
-
Yay! Back dimple appreciation thread! I have them as well as the dip in the spine.. not sure what thats called.0
-
I guess I'm the odd one out but I don't want them. I don't like the looks of them, I just want smooth back.0
-
I've always been embarrassed of mine. I had no idea they were sexy. Lol0

This is the first time I've heard of these. I just looked i the mirror. I'm close to the thinnest possible weight I should be at to be healthy, and I still don't have them. Oh well..0
-
I had them at 275lbs and now more noticeable at 147lbs. I am not 100% sure, but I would say genetics have a lot to do with it.0

Ok...a better example would be free earlobes vs attached. :drinker:
To that end, fat or thin, i've always had back dimples. Both my children have them as well (boy & girl). I also have a pretty prominent scoop in my lower back, that's where I thought they came from.0 -

Awww, now, wait a minute :smokin: I thought butt dimples were the little hollows on the lateral aspect of the butt cheeks! Many moons ago I had those... (cue gone with the wind music)..and god willing, (with conviction) I will have them again!
And then u know what I'll be?...gone with the wind fabulous :laugh:0 -
I don't think I had back dimples even when I was anorexic....I didn't have a thigh gap either...guess my body just doesn't want me to be hot *harrumph*0
-
I gotta say, I'm lovin' the 'dimples of venus' thing....I can't believe it has a commonly referred to name!0
