Curious about the nutrition specs? any idea how many cals and etc, it would have?
  • Thank you for sharing this. I know I will enjoy it, but will give it to my 9 yr. old son who is a picky eater.

on my snack for the ingredients it totaled about 300 calories

it was in the 300 calories and under snack ideas. I thought I would try it out.

they do have lower calorie receipes of the same thing on spark people though
  • ..... and you could use Cocoa instead of the Nestle Quik Chocolate sauce to reduce calories & sugar.

..... and instead of milk you could try Vanilla Soy or Almond Milk (non-diary beverage) if you happen to be lactose intolerant.

You can freeze the banana, lose the ice and just use cocoa. If you don't use too much milk it can be thick like ice cream!

That's a peanut butter mood(from jamba juice). Just the ratios are messed up.

    2 cups milk
    1 banana
    4 tbs peanut butter
2 scoops chocolate whey(this is the chocolate flavor i use)

I do this too with the whey, except I use almond milk and PB2 as substitutions as well.
