30 Day Shred

Going to start ( in a couple of mins ;)) Those of you who have done or are doing 30 DS what exercise do you log it as?

    I'm on Day 5 - L1 and based on other people's comments on another thread I'm logging as Calisthenics (vigorous activity) - mind you when I couldn't keep going all the time on the first couple of days I knocked a couple of minutes off so I wasn't overestimating calorie burn.

    Enjoy - really hard work, but Day 5 really did seem a (little) bit easier today!

    Circuit Training, general is what I've always logged it as.

    I did some research and added my own exercise

    Jillian Michaels 30 day shred burns 503 calories per hour Assuming weight of 154 lbs or 70 kg

    I found this while searching through the board.

    30 day shred calorie burn - 3.267 calories burnt per pound every hour. Multiply by weight to get how many calories per hour you would burn and divide by 3 to get each 20 minute work out. ~ taken from Jillian Michaels website.


    I found circuit training gives me about 30 extra calories burned. Than this calculation.
