Hi Everyone!

Quick question. Why after entering all my food in the diary for the day, the note at the bottom says "if you eat like today, you should weigh ** in so many weeks. The number they give me had me gaining 4 pds from yesterdays numbers, and I always stay below my calorie intake! Why would it say I'd be heavier today in so many weeks......when I exercised more today and stayed below calorie level?

Have you updated your weight on the site?

No, I haven't updated my weight, I actually do not own a scale yet. But I'm wondering why I'd be reported to gain weight when I stay within the calorie range this site gave me when I entered my starting weight and that I wanted to lose 2pds a week. Not sure how that can be.

It may just be a flaw, maybe it didn't recognize your exercise calories when doing it because my MFP friend had the same problem a few days ago, she said a glitch messed up her weight update so it said she'd gain a ton if she ate like that everyday? Check your goals on the site.

I am not sure either, but it truly verys one day to the next. you could start a page on a copy cat program and see what they say your intake should be and all. keep us informed Kim

I think I should be eating around 1500 calories a day, but it always gives me more, and even more when I add my exercise in. I'm trying to learn this site, but I entered my starting weight, height, and goal weight, and also stated I wanted to lose 2 pds a week. When it showed a 4+ pd difference from yesterday to today, I almost choked! lol
I'm hoping by staying at around 1400 calories and exercising.......I'll lose those 2 pds a week!

    Ty for your responses ladies!
