Gaspari Protein Donuts from http://www.drsarasolomon.com/gaspari-protein-donuts/
This recipe makes 7 delicious donuts
Dry Ingredients:
2 Scoops Gaspari Myofusion Probiotic Series- Cinnamon Roll (If you don't have this Im sure any will work)
3/4 C Qinoa flour(I used whole wheat flour)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 sp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg (I used pumpkin spice mix)
Mix wet ingredients in another bowl:
2 eggs
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 pumpkin puree
1/4 unsweetned almond milk
2 Tbsp coconut oil ( I didnt have this so I used more pumpkin)
Mix dry and wet but don't over mix or you will get rubbery donuts.
Pour the batter into a large Ziploc bag. Cut an opening in 1 corner of the bag and pipe the batter into each donut mold (but only 1/2 to 3/4 full). If you overfill each mold, the donut holes will close when you bake it.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the donuts spring back when you touch them. Let them cool before icing them.
For icing recipe click website provided above. There is a chocolate icing and a cinnamon cream cheese.
