    So I know you the rule is running miles only, but I'm not really sure how to easily back out the miles for the hills I have to walk, or walk breaks as my fitness level slowly increases. So I'm just counting all the miles covered when I go out for a "run". Promise to try and bank some extra miles to make up for that discrepency.

    4/10- 7.1 miles. It was an awesome run day. I think I haven't been eating enough for breakfast and my runs have suffered for it... Today I made some changes and reaped the benefits! I just love it when a run comes together! :glasses:

    Yippie, almost a month and a half back at it and had my first run where I actually enjoyed it. 3.5 miles and only had to walk one steep hill. Hoping that this is the start of me being able to slip into that zone again :-)

    Ran about 3.1 miles today on the treadmill. W9D1 of Couch to 5k! Two more sessions, then I start 5k to 10k!!!

    4/13 - I'm running a 5K a week from today and went to run the route. I made a wrong turn and made the run about a mile longer than the route. Ran 4.12 miles today.

    Yippie, longest run in well, almost two years. The pup chewed up the lace in my Brooks so I dug out my Five Fingers and grade to the track. 5.23 miles in under an hour. Yeah, yeah, not exactly fast, but considering two months ago I wasn't running at all... I feel great, and dinky stopped because it got dark :-)

    2.18today - sort of. Ran a little over a mile before the pain in my knee became unbearable and I turned around. I'm counting the limp home because it takes more energy to walk a mile without bending or putting weight on your knee than it does to run. And because I'm all kinds of brilliant, I thought maybe it would feel better if I just jogged slowly. So I did "jog slowly" for parts of the second mile. Probably looked more like Quasimodo having a seizure than jogging though...
