Hi and hello!
Welcome aboard. I'm relatively new here myself but I love it so far. Logging everything helps a lot.
Don't get discouraged when You've been working your patootie off and the scale ain't budging (speaking from experience here just a bit ) stick with it!!!
Lotsa support here and great info. Good to have you!0 -
I'm rather new to this myself. I've been doing this for about a month and this app & site have helped me greatly. I agree with what most others have said. Log everything, drink your water, don't get discouraged and don't deprive yourself. When I first started, I would freak if I went over my calories. I've learned to let that go because 1 day out of 7 isn't all that bad. I am also a bit of a chocoholic. But, instead of having a whole candy bar, I'll have 1 of the minis. Just enough so as not to binge. Feel free to add me.0

Welcome you made the first step! Best advice is log everything, don't forget to log things you drink. When I first started I realized I was drinking away a good portion of my calories with the way I drank my coffee.0

Slow and steady wins the race. It took your lifetime to get where you are it will take some time to get where you want to be. This is an excellent tool to help keep us on track, but it's only as good as what you put into it. I recommend that input your measurements every month or two. This will help to keep you motivated even when the scale says otherwise. Best of luck!0

Lots of advice here. Often contradictory. Take what works for you, leave what doesn't. There is not single formula that works for everyone. Only the government believes crap like that.
This^^^^ guy couldn't be MORE right on!! :bigsmile:0 -

Calories are your key to success. I've lost more weight just keeping to my calories but I've lost inches doing the exercise. Just keep at it and don't give up. Feel free to add me if you like.0
