I woke with a throbbing headache and myalgia. (muscle soreness) .
I hate when I hare sore musclles and I haven't even worked out. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and myalgia is one of the traits..symptons..whatever)

yesterday was a GOOD DAY! No headache. no Myalgia. But didn't have time for the gym- with running kids to classes and helping husband with taxxes..So Iplanned on going to the gym this moring- (have to be home at 11:3- so the 19 yr old can drive to his classes)

Then, I woke with headache. One that felt likee it would be a migraine today... and with sore muscles.
I drank watter, ate a protein high breakfast as that will sometimes arrest the headache. But to no avail. It got worse. I took meds. then decided I might as well go to the gym anyway. 2 reasons. [1] I am going to be miserable anyway, might as well be miserable doing something beneficil than miserable home shut up in my room. [2] If my muscles are going to hurt, they might as well have a good reason to hurt.
Then I layed back down and sighed. almost gave in, but then told myself to just GO to the gym, get it over with. I took my 18 yr old son with me. (He asked aboout doing somersaukts on the teadmill. he worries me some days)

wore my sunglassses at the gym, like one of the dorks I hear gym goers make fun of. But they iinnsisted on having the lights on at the gym, so what's a migraine-y girl to do????

long story short....shoter...
M head still hurts, bt not as much. My muscles still hurt, more even, but I know they have a good reason to hurt.
but my body and mind feel more awake and alert.
And Connor is an awesome teenager and full of WIN (and goofiness) and I enjoyed having him there.

AND!!!!

AND!! I increased my deadlifts today! I am up to 80 pounds!!!

That's great. You fought through the pain AND increased your deadlifts.

You're awesome. :flowerforyou: Keep it up.

Thanks. it wasn't horrible pain, just low grade achey annoying pain that made me want to sleep all day. which would have made it hard to sleep tonight.
I'm glad I made myself go.

Oh I hate that type of pain. It is certainly an acheivement that you went. I'm not sure I would have. lol

Of course having a mirgaine doesn't help with things either. Been there - done that.

I'm a wimp when it comes to things like that.
