You know, I have to say, I'm impressed and appreciative of (what I consider to be) such a speedy and overwhelming supportive response. I guess it really does make sense to engage in a support system for ultimate success.
It's interesting to me -- as a bipolar person, I realized that coming to terms with my condition and in order to take control of my situation, I had to listen to people LIKE ME .... "normal" people couldn't relate. Same with this situation I think. Skinny folks may try to be supportive but can they truly understand what we deal with, the struggles with changing eating habits and doing without what we really want to eat, and the burden of trying to exercise with (in my case) 100+ pounds extra? Nah, I think not.
Being part of said community of like souls methinks is good0
