I have been losing weight everywhere in my body except my abdomen. I need some suggestions on some exercises besides crunches, which I already do. I also do step aerobics.

I just listened to Jillian Michael's podcast about 'spot reducing' and she said you can't spot reduce. You can't choose where your body will lose weight. You can tone the muscles.

I have recently started an ab workout that I created myself. Like she said above you can't pick where you want to lose weight but you can tone the area which could still help!

I looked through http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/workout/abs/exercises/ for a lot of my workouts. I do dolphin planks (plank from the elbow with forearms on the floor rather than from the hands), v-sits, wall bridges, etc. But most of my workout is various different kinds of crunches because I am a weirdo and I like them. But I do say 20 reps of this kind, then 30 of that kind, etc. That way it doesn't make me feel as tired but I am still working at my abs.

Someone posted this site for me.... 100 abdominal exercises: http://www.ab-core-and-stomach-exercises.com/abdominal-exercises.html
I use a lot of these!

I hope this helps you find some non-crunch ab workouts. But again like I said I like crunches and I don't use a dvd for mine.
