Lost my way, but I'm back!!

Amazing how much difference not being on MFP makes.. In November 2011 I joined MFP and started a health kick (just prior to that), weighing in at 19st 3lbs (269lbs), by October last year, I was down to 17st 8lbs (246lbs). I was on a mission to get to 15st before I turned 40 in March this year...

I started to see someone new and one thing led to another, I put everything on hold. Stopped going to the gym, started snacking again and gradually seen clothes get a bit tighter.. This morning I stood on the scales 18st 2lbs (254lbs), the same weight I got to in February last year, a gain of 8lbs in 6months.. Not too bad, it could have been worse, but it SHOULD have been better...

So I'm back again, time to wake up, smell the coffee (and reduce the intake haha) and get my butt back into action..

I missed MFP, the chats, the support etc, so figured it was a great guiding light before, so why not come back again and committ again... So... Hello Again everyone, hope you're all having great success and happy to offer any advice/support/guidance if you need it as well. I'm not an avid user of blogs/chats etc, but am good at giving advice (not necessarily heeding my own words though ;) )..

Wish you all well in your journey and feel free to add me to your support network/friends if you'd like..

All the best..
Marcus

    Hi Marcus,

I've done the same thing as you, lost almost 2 stone last year then Christmas happened & I started my bad eating habits again and 8lps crept back on :( It's scary how easy it is to lose your way and see your hard work slowly disappear!

I started fresh again this week and am determined to get back on track! Hopefully I can make it last this time :)

Good luck in your new journey and I hope you can get back to where you were before and even further :)
