My page has all my pictures. I started at 285 and currently am at 196. Went down as low as 172 but have gained some back after taking time off from the gym and not logging my food anymore. Funny how that works eh? lol. My profile picture is me at my current weight as it was just taken a few weeks ago. :) I only know I have a large frame because I had a bone density scan done, and the Doctor told me I should weigh 15-20 lbs less than I do because of the size of my bones.

okay, i have a question for all you amazing ladies.

at my heaviest i was 353 lbs and a uk size 30 in my jeans in jan 2011. i lost 84 lbs over a year then gained 28 back last year due to not counting or exercising

when i joined here in jan 2013 i was 297 and am now down to 238 and comfortably in a size 16 jeans

according to the guidelines my ideal weight is 144 lbs and my question is what about the excess flab?

i would be happy if i got down to 210 which whilst still very overweight is still over 10 stone lighter than i was and not have too much excess flab

My wonderful husband has been researching this problem for me and has encouraged me not to give up, it can take 2 years for you skin to 'snap back into shape' and he read on several pages to apply Preparation H to bad areas. I have been doing this for about 5 days and I can actually tell a difference in my thighs, the stretch marks are no longer that hideous red and they have tightened up. I am pleased w/the results so far.

I'm 5'9" and have a large frame. My wrists are pretty bony and measure 7.75." Even super thin, bracelets have been an issue for me.

I weighed 253 in November 2011 (first picture).. Last Saturday I weighed 198. I was about 203 in the last pictures I posted in this thread.

I am not sure if it's known how to tell what size your frame is so I'm going to put it out there. If you are a small frame placing your fingers around your wrist if you touch your pinky to your thumb and they overlap it's small, a medium frame if your index and thumb will touch or overlap, and a large frame if none of your fingers touch when reaching around your wrist.. I only base this off what the military used when they measured me back in the day. I am a "Medium/Small" frame, which shocked me because I am naturally a 36" hip (Smallest my hips ever were, when I was bone thing is 35.5) and I am 5'8" on top of that. However they marked me down as medium/small (closer to medium) that said I saw some of the other pics posted and women that are about my frame shared, so I will as well. (Also first pic is starting, second pic is after 30 day shred, third is last months progress after 40 minutes of cardio six ..maybe five times a week)
Starting weight: 155lbs (2 weeks after my daughter was born)
Ending weight (so far) 145lbs (11 weeks after my daughter was born)

And here is me at my almost "ultimate goal" prior to baby number 2. 5'8" 135lbs about 20% BF but my goal is now to be 132-135lbs and 16-18% BF

My experience is that maintaining is MUCH harder than losing (which is hard enough). IMHO 120 is MUCH too low for a woman of your height. Here my thought: as you reach 200 - hold on for a few weeks; then down to 175; hold it; 150 hold it.

when we continue to work out and eat slim our body composition changes - even after we stop losing.

really don't mean to be your Mom :) Just hate to see you set yourself up. But good luck in any event.

YOu look fabulous! YOur shoulders make your waist seem teensy. don't worry about losing anything ---just maintain and keep working out - things will change.
