New and need ALL the help I can get!

Hey all, I just joined today but I've actually started "watching" my weight since January. Up to date I've lost 14 pounds but I've kinda hit a wall at this stage. No matter what I try I just can't seem to move on from here and I'm getting frustrated! I've decided that this is going to be the year for changes and improvements so I'm hoping being on MFP will help me get past this and onto greater things!

    Welcome, well done for what you have done so far as it is hard doing it on your own.
    MFP is great and always helps me when i really want to lose weight. If you use it properly you will see amazing results.

    When logging your meals, pay attention to it's nutritional value. Calories is just a number, but if you like eating lots of Carbohydrates or food high w/ fructose (sugar), you might not lose as weight fast enough. So make sure you also look at what MFP has designed for you in regards to both calories and nutritional value.
