7 weeks Cardio vs. 7 weeks Lifting - Pictures

Options
I'm by no means a heavy lifter. I despise the gym and use free weights (some would call it barbie weights ha! ha!) in the privacy of my home. I simply increase the weights when I feel I'm ready for the next challenge. It just amazes me what a difference strength training has done for my body. I can't wait to see what else my body can take.

The pictures where take in February 21, and April 18.
Between January 6 when I first joined the site and February 21, I was doing strictly cardio. Sorry there are no pictures from when I started in Jan at 167lbs. By February 21, I think I was about 160.

The last time I checked on my Birthday March 31, I was 145, the next day, April 1, I had a my yearly physical and they clocked me at 153. So I'm between 145-153 in the April Pictures as I haven't got weighed since the beginning of this month.

NOTE: I picked up 30 pounds between August last year and Jan so I've never been real heavy. I was just ashamed I let myself gain that much weight in a short amount of time. And of course I always maintained doing just cardio prior to getting lazy last year August. But now I think I'm hooked on strength training. Y'all (on this board) have unleashed sumin'!!!

PICTURE EDIT: The side pictures are cut off so I'm posting them one at a time:

You have some weird extra code in your tags. Also I think it works better when the img is lower case. You look AMAZING!

Awesome job!!! I find the same thing as you.....Just adding the weights burns my fat so much faster!!! I still do a few days of cardio inbetween. What is your workout schedule? Do you do alternate muscles on different days??

Wow! The difference in just a month is unbelievable! I've been thinking about slowing down on cardio and adding more weight training and now I'm totally motivated seeing the difference in your body. Thanks for the motivation!

Thanks for the responses. I posted because I'm still amazed myself. I can't believe I wasted YEARS doing only cardio when I could have seen better results strength training. I seriously plan to keep upping the weights to see what else this body of mine can take.
