Confessions of junkfood junkies

Replies

  • I have to make a terrible confession that i haven't eaten any junk for for the past 1 year.....

Unfortunately i have developed a thing called as "controlling temptations"

I was able to do it and lost 75 pounds, but now that I am fit and healthy I choose to indulge in my weakness every once and while. Be careful my friend for one day that statement about controlling temptations will come back and bite you in the *kitten*. It happens to everyone at some point!

@mnishi Honestly, stopping at four thin mints IS "controlling temptations" in my book. :ohwell:

To actually contribute to thread: There are some baked cheetos on my menu tonight... (but because they are baked, do they really count?) :drinker:

I ate the little leftover bits of pop tarts my kids left yesterday.

I have been assured that little leftover bits have no calories and don't count

I had two mini almond joys after lunch. 85 Cals in a 17g bar. Obscene. But so, so tasty.

I had pizza for lunch yesterday.... and today.....

And I'm salivating over the thought of the apple pie sitting on my kitchen counter....
I will make it fit in my calories. I will have it for dinner - big piece.
  • There's a candy jar on my co-workers desk.

One Fun Size Milky Way. One Fun Size M & M. One Hershey Nugget.

I wish I had self control. *kicking rocks*

Snickers be the ***** in my armour. But they're so ridiculously delicious. I REGRET NOTHING.

I had the aforementioned almond joys with lunch, and now a McWrap for dinner, with half a snack sized McFlurry for dessert.

And still under my calorie goal. Oorah.

Okay! Okay! i take back my statements! i shouldn't have commented on this thread! people here are just too sensitive

In my experience people just don't like it when the perceive that someone is coming across as being superior due to their choice of eating habits.

why should i be feeling superior ?

I am extremely serious about my weight loss program, that does not mean i have superiority complex....
Yeah, that last sentence didn't come across as **** at all...

I eat chocolate or candy nearly everyday. That lack of self control has really ****ed up my progress

Last week, instead of eating dinner, I ate an entire box of mint chocolate cookies. I still ended the day with a deficit.

HAHAHA - My guess is that this is a complete lie! Its only healthy to cave to temptations, its called portion control and smart planning buddy.

My co-worker keeps a bowl of chocolate candy at her desk; yesterday I thought I could stop at a couple pieces (the mini Snickers, 3 Musketeers, etc. kind) . I think I stopped at a couple dozen. But I'm not completely sure. :ohwell:

Some days I can control the temptations and some days I can't...

3 coffee cake bites from the office "communal treat" counter...while I waited for my sauteed kale and chicken breast to heat up...whomp whomp.
