? No...it's just a temperature. Cold showers are good as part of intense excercise recovery, but aside from that, no.0

I can tell you that after a morning run nothing feels as good as a cold shower. It really helps to cool you down when you're hot and sweaty.0

Usually I hear skin looks a little more wrinkled after a cold shower, depending on application.0 -

I always rinse my hair after conditioning with cooler water. Apparently it locks in the moisture and helps things look shiny!0

Cold water will:
invigorate after exercise
tighten pores
make hair shinier after conditioning
make nips hard
make other things less hard
help people with rheumatological ailments sleep (I have a rheumatological ailment, my rheumatologist recommends tepid or as cold as I can handle and it helps)
Cold water will not:
make anyone less fat
de-age skin
heal anything0 -
Cold showers increase anabolic muscle building and strengthen erection fast twitch fibres0
-
It's good for your skin if you have eczema
Hot showers can make it RAGE

Cold showers? Pfft.
Cold baths are where it's at. Fill the tub with cold water from the tap and jump in for 20-30 minutes. (Unfortunately, the water gets a little too warm in the summer here, so I'm considering buying a large ice maker.)0 -
Nah, cold showers just wake me up and refresh me. Cold shower to wake you up; hot bath to relax you and help you sleep.0
