I buy this stuff every week:

    Apples
    bananas
    grapes
    other in season fruit
    cucumbers
    zucchini
    broccoli
    spinach

    eggs
    whole wheat bagel thins
    roasted chicken
    k-cups (for coffee machine)
    milk
    greek yogurt

Everything else is based off my dinner menu but these get me through the week including lunches. I love green veggies and so do my kids so we eat a lot of those.

    Feel free!

I have a stockpile of other nonperishable stuff. I try to homemake treats, so I keep whole wheat flour and cocoa powder on hand for that purpose. :)

    chicken breasts
    ground turkey
    pork chops/roast
red meat (some sort of roast or good stew meat)
    cheese
bacon (yup bacon... my one big splurge)
veggies (whatever looks good, but will always include green peppers and spinach)
plain greek yogurt (fage 2% is my fave, i flavour it myself and i cook with it)
    milk
protein shakes (which i buy at gnc or costco)

^^^^ I buy these every 2 weeks and they are most definitely my staples. They are not the only thing that I buy, but they are my consistent items. I find I can make just about whatever I want with them and I have learned to be very creative in order to not get bored.

Fresh fruit and vegetables. Copious amounts.

Chicken breast, turkey, lean ground beef, pork loin - I try to rotate as I am feeding the whole gang.

Arnold's Multigrain Thins, flavored almonds (toasted coconut and blazin buffalo are my current go tos), taco seasoning (have taco salad for dinner almost every week), Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches (150 calories of heaven).

I shop fortnightly and have fallen into the habit of eating mainly a plant-based diet (it's cheaper.)

Organic veg box (this week's delivery is sweet potatoes, celeriac, broccoli, leeks, onions, carrots and courgettes)
    Tinned cannellini beans
    Organic cheddar
    Wholemeal and oats bagels
    Wholemeal bread
    Organic houmous
    Thick-cut dry cure streaky bacon
    Naan bread
    Rice cakes
    Greek yoghurt or fromage frais
Organic milk chocolate with sea salt
    White potatoes
    Apples
    Garlic
    Organic eggs

Then I have a stockpile of staples that I add to as needed:

    Organic peanut butter
    Lentils
    Dried black beans
    Dried pinto beans
    Frozen peas
    Frozen spinach
    Frozen broccoli
    String cheese
    Granola bars
    Fruit bars
    Tinned tuna
    Oatcakes
    Honey
    Ice cream (extremely important)!

I also keep organic chicken and line-caught fish in the freezer in case I do feel like eating meat. I can always make something out of all that! Oh, and I get a Graze box once a week as a treat.
