have read a lot of mfp members are from USA where Kashi products are readily available.
I fancied trying the Kashi go lean cereals a try but at £9.00 for a box of cereal ($18 approx) from Amazon.....just not feasable!!
we cant get the waffles or any other products apart from cereal bars from Amazon too...but a case of 6x12 cereal bars...nearly £100..($200!!!!)..absolutely no chance!!!
its a pity that us Brits wont be able to taste these seemingly great products unless they reduce the cost!!!

Really? You don't need them. There are no "miracle products", just food. And unprocessed real food beats bars and cereals any days.
Just my 2 cents!
And why are you eating so little every day?0 -
A sugar delivery system, just like the majority of cereals available, except they have cool commercials.0

Make your own granola and make your own waffles! You know what you are eating and it's much healthier... you aren't missing out!0

Kashi is terrible. Just a bunch of bark and dust mixed with oil and sugar. It'll tear through your intestinal tract anyway unless you drink a gallon of water with it (unnatural amount of fiber).
Just go to Tesco and find some granola. Here in the States there is a grocery chain called Fresh & Easy that is owned by Tesco. It has lots of good items at decent prices. No clerks either! Just self-checkout which is great IMO. I'm sure if we have this chain here you could find something comparable or better than Kashi where you are.0 -
Some people are super negative! Geez! I do not have time to make my own granola bars. For now I eat Kashi Bars. I like them. I would say the less of two evils. That stinks you cannot get them in the UK. That does seem wicked expensive!0

This.
Also . . . . you're from the UK and you're surprised that good food is expensive?

I haven't really liked anything I've tried from Kashi...0

Kashi is no big deal.0

They're LOADED with soy and corn, 3-5 different sweeteners, and a slew of grains that our ancestors probably never heard of. What a waste of 140 calories.
People just want to help others see the light and not fall for the "health food aisle" robbery. Real health food doesn't need the label of health food.0 -
Kashi is nothing special. It is a food product. Some people like it and some don't. It won't help your health in any specific way.0
