Hey y'all! I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a 8 week challenge for taking the stairs vs. the elevator. It's always more motivating for me when I have someone working towards the same/similar goal I am lets do it!!! This will be an exciting challenge please add me as a friend so we can all motivate each other.
Goal: Increase use of the stairs vs. the elevator and increase hydration to support increase in physical activity.
1.Keep a record of the number of flights you climb each day of the week and record it for the week. 1 flight of stairs = 15 steps.
2. You can count both ascending (up) and descending (down) flights.
My challenge is to stop taking the elevator at work. I will take the stairs up to the third floor every day which is four flights up each flight = 15 stairs. I will take the stairs on both my breaks which is twice a day we get a 15 minute break and also on my lunch break. I plan on starting off with 5 minutes on each break.
