Older or younger?

Do people tend to think that you are older or younger than you are?

For me (32 in July), most people think that I am younger, which is nice :laugh:

    if i'm wearing makeup and have my hair done, people assume i am either my age or close to it (20, almost 21).

    if i'm not wearing makeup, people think i'm a lot younger. i've been carded to see R-rated movies this year...and i'm like "i haven't been 17 in almost 4 years...embarrassing."

    i can't wait to turn 21 so all the bartenders and bouncers can stare at my I.D. for ages before letting me in :)

    I'm 21 and it's really funny that all the time people say that i'm either 16 or 30. Nobody is able to guess my age for some reason

    I am only 25 but most people think I am older.....which is pretty horrendous haha.

    Older. I'm 21 (turning 22 this week) and people assume I'm mid 20s at least.

    My parents have said I was an old woman since birth lol. I'm also in a management position so people auto assume I'm a lot older than I am I guess. I'm rarely carded for anything which is ridiculous.

    I've had a liquor store scratch my ID and tell me it's fake :laugh:

    I have always been taken for younger than I am, it could be a little annoying when I was young, but now I'm old it's very flattering :happy:

    I always get younger... and the bonus of being IDed at the liquor store from time to time (which is pretty exciting when you're nearly 30)!

    younger. i'm 28, and on friday night i had someone tell me i look like i'm 16. i still get carded for R movies sometimes. and i'm a-ok with that. when i'm 40 i'll still look like i'm 30! :drinker:


    although a few months ago, on one of those forums here, the one "guess your age" or something, someone placed me at 32. honestly first time i've ever been mistaken for older.

    I quoted a movie last week that came out while i was at uni, and was told i was too young to know that movie.

    People have always thought I'm younger. A couple of stories:

    1. When I was 7 (nearly 8) I got into Disneyland for free (5 and under back in the early 90s could get in for free).
    2. When I was in 3rd year uni (aged 20), I was asked at a skating rink what grade I was in by a teenager.
    3. When I was 16, I was able to get the salad bar cost at a 12 year old (instead of paying adult fare at age 16).
    4. I get carded EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to go to a club (I'm 30).

    I just realised, a lot of people assume i'm their age! My colleagues I consider older than me (mid 40s) think I'm their age, a 20-something I met on a bus thought I was her age, my friend couldn't believe I would turn 38 this year because she thought we were the same age :laugh:

    I guess everyone just wants to be like me :laugh:

    People seem to think I look younger than I am (I'm 20), however, I hardly ever get asked for ID when I'm buying alcohol. Maybe they're just lazy. Or maybe it's because I'm holding my car keys.

    Older.....pregnancy runs havoc on my skin and the weight doesnt help

    I am 28 and i have had people put me at 32-36 .......

    I remember feeling devastated and thinking if i dont do something about my weight and my skin and my general health ppl will think my hubby has arrived with his mother as opposed to his wife

    When I was teenager, people thought I was older. However as I get older, people tell me that I look younger :happy:

    im definatly looked at as older, im going to be 30 in may but im already bald lol also i think me running a resturant since i was 22 as the GM helped people think im older than I am

    I've had both. Some think I'm younger and I get carded all the time. One time though I went to look at houses and the lady thought my boyfriend was my son! In my defense he looked like he was a really tall 14 year old...
