Six wek to six pack abs.... Jillian Michaels

hi,

Just started this Monday and have not seen many threads on this DVD. Has anyone done this DVD?? Results?? I have done The Shred 4 X's and finished up 90 day Body revolution last month, so I am a big JM fan!!

  • I haven't but only because I've been told by friends who are trainers that "target zones" don't work. That and there's a lot of core work in her 30DS and I do a lot of planks/etc on my own. Good Luck!

    I have just finished day 7 after not exercising for about a month and I can feel my tummy muscles and arm muscles getting harder already! Its a great workout.

    I've never done the whole 6 weeks but have cycled the dvd through with other JM workouts. It's not just target though everything works the core, there's cardio in there as welll as planks etc that work shoulder , back as well.

    It's a great dvd! I did it before my trip to Mexico last year and the results were incredible.

    I'm in the middle of week four (first week of level two) and I'm liking it (though I do miss the better chest work I felt I got with 30DS). I feel like 30DS has more strength and 6wk6pk has more cardio. For comparison sake, I noted that I burned 340 cal or so with 30DS. With 6w6pk, last night I burned 511. Anyway, I like 'em both. I'm looking forward to being done with 6wk6pk...but only so I can start 30DS again. After that, I'll start P90X and see how that goes. Good luck:)

    That's so great!! Was just in Mexico last week and did the 90 day body revolution right up until we left. Mexico is great motivation:drinker: !!

    Well this week starts my 6th week of 6 week 6 pack, but i have a low attention span so ive been mixing 6 week 6 pack with 30 day shred. 6w6p on mon wed and fri and 30DS on tues thurs sat. I burn way more calories with my HRM on doing 6 week 6 pack even though its only 6 minutes longer (lvl 2) its does have way more cardio.

    when i finish 6 week 6 pack im inserting ripped in 30 on mon wed and fri. but i told my friend that we are going to do the killer buns and thighs workout after work at least once a week (i workout before work with the other JM dvd's)

    im not sure ive noticed a ton of change but i feel better ive lost about 6 lbs since i started 5 weeks ago but ive had many bad weekends in a row (wedding, party, sister's birthday) so that has set me back.

    but ive also added in doing just dance on wii after work a few days a week, and my b/f taught me his "5 minute abs" that his MMA trainer has him do everyday, so ive been throwing that in every few days and though my abs don't feel sore, they d feel very tired
