Help....I am having a Divvy moment....

Hi all,

This is probably one of the most obvious questions ever, but I am just doubtin myself a little and would appreciate a little bit of clarity on this.

MFP has worked out I need to eat 1200 cals per day to lose 2lb per week....if I exercise I obviously "earn" calories...therefore do I then have to eat the calories earned as well????

Confused.com :noway: lol

    Yes! 1200 cals is the minimum your body needs to function, so please do eat your extra cals back :) I'm in no way a specialist, this is just from experience.

  • Ahhhhh ok...thank you. I will from now on eat ALL the calories...I did think it was bad to be 756 calories out. Ooooooooops :blushing:

    If you're following the MFP plan...then yes. Eat and enjoy. Keep in mind that 1200 is really low....2lbs a week is not guaranteed, its just the default minimum. You may want to consider resetting to a slower more sustainable pace. Good luck! You can do this!
