Talking number 2s - No one talks about it enough

Just curious I find many people talking about not losing the pounds some weeks and they have worked thier butts off. Have you considered getting rid of waste? What do you take to help your body get rid of waste?

I put things like flaxseed, dates, figs in my protien packed pancakes or yogurt and drink alot of water to help with this!!!

    I'm vegetarian, so I find that beans, nuts, and seeds on a daily basis really help without me even trying. On the other hand, I do drink a lot of water, and eat plenty of fresh fruit and veg, so going to the bathroom is something that happens for me without really needing to worry about.

    Leading up to Shark Week, I up the flax seeds, as progesterone swells soft tissues and makes elimination harder, but I up the water too.

    I'm a fiber freak. I think I might actually pay more attention to the fiber in my diet, than I do to the carbs, proteins, fats, vitamins, etc. I'm also extremely 'regular' and I like it that way.

    Im quite regular too I eat alot of vege but I find a good hard cardio workout really cleans the old system out.

    I'm daily provided I stick to complex carbs and get plenty of fibre.

    I saw the doctor the other day because of this issue. Of course, I have a history of adhesions from a prior surgery so now I have to have a bunch more tests to see if I have more adhesions and hope there are none on my bowels.
  • Oh this is super. I do think though that sometimes esp if you not going to the loo and the scale hasnt moved fiber and water is needed. I think thats why sometimes I plateau. Ive only just upped my water intake and started on flaxseed. I didnt go for 4 to 5 days and my OH thought it was crazy lol I thought it was normal lol but now Im going once a day :D

    I can't even imagine a life where I didn't poop every day. Hell, I usually do it 3 times a day, after every meal. But if I didn't go after breakfast, that would be a really weird sort of day. Even when I'm constipated, I at least go after breakfast, lol.
