I really enjoy this recipe and eat as a quick breakfast or at lunch with a salad.
Its sooo simple anyone could cook this
All you need is:
1 tub of fat free cottage cheese
1 bottle of egg whites or 4 whole eggs but the yolks contain the fat
Any filling that you wish to add, chicken, beef, ham, seafood, mushrooms, onions
salt and pepper to taste
All you do is mix together the cottage cheese with 1/2 bottle of egg white or 4 beaten eggs
Mix in pre-cooked meats
Bake in oven at 425 for about 40 minutes or until brown on top
Eat hot or cold
Enjoy guys

That sounds great, minus the exclusion of the fat. Fat is healthy, delicious, satisfying, fends off hunger, and helps with weight loss and promotes optimal health. The whole eggs sound like a better option than egg whites that come in a container.
Why the almost total avoidance of healthy fat?
Just doing my part to stop the "fat is bad" myth.... Unsolicited, and I apoligize for that.0 -

Yup, dietary fat =/= body fat.0 -
Sorry, but my favorite part of a quiche is the crust. =B0

gotta agree lol I love crust0 -
I like the idea of doing it without the crust since I don't usually care for crust and tend to eat around it. I think I will play around with this although likely with whole eggs and maybe even some bacon. Thanks!!0

Will try this. Usually I put sliced tomatoes on top before baking.0
