I'd go with that celine dion song from Titanic followed by Ruptured Nuptuals by MOD and finished off by the Beer Barrel Polka. I would also make them play the entire self titiled album Mr. Bungle during the cerimony as background. If you know me you'll get it. If you don't, you shouldn't be there anyway.

At my grandpa's funeral dinner my cousin played a song my grandpa requested - On Top of Old Smokey. I was 14 at the time and thought my grandpa was HILARIOUS

For me - "Spirit in the Sky" or I do like "I Did It My Way"

    Oh for sure!

Truckin' is a great one too! Fav GD is Touch of Grey but "I will survive" defies the funeral song theme!

Come On Up to the House by Tom Waits. It's beautiful and not too melancholy. I have said that I wanted that song played at my funeral from the first time I heard it.

Nice one! I was going to say "Down There By the Train"- Tom Waits.

I'm a funeral singer in a Catholic church, so for the Mass itself choices would be a bit constrained. "You Are Mine" would be a top pick.

For the graveside, all bets are off, so I'm going with a song popular in WWII: "We'll Meet Again."

H,mmm an interesting thought. I never considered a song. I'll have to talk to my girl about that. We plan on dying together.

That way we can go into the same casket and I can hold her forever.
