Help figuring out protein/carbs?

I am a 25 year old female. I'm 5'8" and currently weigh 172 pounds. My daily calorie goal is about 1400. I have about 37 pounds to lose. I will be starting ChaLEAN Extreme and I'm trying to eat better and balance my diet. Can someone direct me to how nuch protein and carbs I should be eating? I will be mostly following the food and nutrition book but so e of the meals I do not like!

I'm on a program right now where I am trying to aim for 40%carbs, 40% protein, and 20% fat everyday. My calorie intake is based on my BMR which was calculated at my gym. If you have access to this, I would really suggest it because knowing how many calories your body burns at rest really will help you determine how much you should be consuming in a day. I am also eating 5 small meals a day, every three hours. Do this. It's working for me!0
