Neil, Neil, Neil...where do I start, buddy? Well, you know what I think of your transformation. You're among a small number of my favourite MFP friends and certainly one of the most inspirational. You've done what I need to do in a shorter space of time. Can't believe how similar our starting weights were (I was 246lbs)! I've not only taken longer, but you're about 4% bf lower! Hang in there, mate. Now's the hard bit, shifting that little bit of fat that's left. Stick with the Stronglifts program and, as it gets harder, cut your cardio suitably (I know you don't want to) and you'll blast that fat off.

Again, you're nothing short of an inspiration to me and god knows how many others on here. You deserve several medals, my friend.

Congrats Neil! You look fantastic! What a transformation.

You are such an inspirational and a supportive friend! Not only to us MFP pals but look at how you have influenced family members and your son to be get active with you.

As I have told you a few times your running motivates me and look I'm running my first road race this Sunday after an injury!

Thank you for sharing your success with us and keep up the good work!

  • Hi,

    Congrats on your loss!!!

I am totally interested in the 0 to 100 push up program!!! I also want to start running, but I'm still getting used to walking. My ultimate goal is to run, but for now I'll stick to walking until I lose a little more weight. I don't want to get shin splints. I also dance, which is a huge motivator for me. But I want to strengthen my arms/shoulders/chest and I think the push ups will help!!! Thanks for the idea on the program!

    Peace,
    Amanda

Yep! MFP is a fabulous tool and a great community - but don't discount your own hard work!

You've gotten excellent results with the work you've put in. You should be very proud!
