Jessica Alba's double corsett claim. How would that work?
If you have seen the news, she says that after her baby was born, she wore a double corsett very tight and this helped regain her figure.
How would this work?
Wouldn't a very tight corsett possibly weaken core muscles?
If it just made her sweat, what's the point. That doesn't burn fat and tighten muscle?
Any thought or actual information? No article I have seen gives and actual explanation.

1) Why do you care?
Huh?
III) Why do you even know this?
Ok...did like 2 seconds of research to find out what this was about and this is what I found:"The concept behind abdominal binders is very common after surgery and after the delivery of a baby to help support abdominal muscles, help with posture and reduce the feeling of bloating," said Dr. Jennifer Ashton, senior medical contributor for ABC News.0 -

"regain figure" ≠ lose weight0

Why not, try and see. Easier than OHP and deadlifts, right?0

Yours hips are still quite pliable after you give birth and this supposedly helps squeeze them back to normal instead of staying wide.It used to be pretty common practice and they still sell them at higher end mmaternity stores.0

Unless you have a stretched uterus (from a baby being in there), you're unlikely to see a difference in your body w/ a belly wrap.
And I guarantee that Jessica Alba's diet and exercise was the biggest factor.0
