What "sinful" foods DON'T you crave?

I gotta say:
Burgers and fries, pizza, bacon, and anything swimming in butter just don't lead me into temptation.
But good beer and chocolate--now there I need some help to deliver me from evil.
What "sinful" foods can you live without?

I probably didn't eat a fry until high school, so thankfully I missed out on that craving. Buffalo wings however ...0

Chocolate, I just don't consider "evil". I really don't like milk chocolate, and I enjoy the heck out of small doses of dark chocolate. Like, REALLY dark chocolate. Beer, I love. But not during training and racing season. So I'll be alcohol free for the next 6 months. Once off season comes again? You'll be lucky to pull me out of the grocery's beer aisle.
What I just can't eat is breakfast pastries. Donuts and bear claws, scones, crullers, pancakes, waffles, all those kinds of things. I really don't like any of them. I used to. But the thrill is gone. I'd rather go hungry till lunch than eat anything like that.
Now to squash my sinful dirty love of burgers and fries, pizza, bacon, and anything swimming in butter...0 -
My insides are much happier if I avoid gluten, so it's REALLY easy to say no to donuts and other pastries.0

I don't crave pasta at all. Nor do I really crave potato chips.
I am addicted to ice cream, however...0 -
pizza and burgers and grease in general no longer interest me but I would like some nice yeast rolls and honey butter0
-
Ice Cream...not anymore:bigsmile:0

Mexican food, pizza, pasta. They are so calorie dense I get easily scared away. I like burgers just fine though, they can be made healthy and are still satisfying.0

If someone were to tell me I couldn't have the following for the rest of my days, I wouldn't cry a single tear:
Chips of any kind
Crackers
Pepperoni, bologna, luncheon meat & the like
Not really sure they are all that sinful though.
Now, take away my ice cream, cheesecake, cookies....I'd bawl! :sad:0 -
Sweets! I can walk away from a cookie, cake, pie, and pretty much any other desert with no problem. I'm in the pizza, cheese, wine, beer, category.... yum yum.0

I don't crave carbs.... Pasta, bread, etc. I do crave salty things, ice cream and salty/sweet combinations. I usually settle for a peanut butter and honey on 35 calorie bread and it nips my craving!0

Potato or corn chips. Any other savory snack with the except nuts. However, if someone found a way for me to be fit and healthy eating nothing but ice cream and sweets I'd be one happy girl!0

I don't know how "sinful" this is, but soda. As I was growing up my mother didn't let me ever have soda, and so I really don't have any craving for it. I mean, I'll drink it and I like it when I do, but it's definitely not something that I miss or really want to have.0

Soda, cake, bread!0

Ice cream, soda, pasta (except mac and cheese), bread.0

I really don't care for soda. Maybe once in a blue moon if it's really hot out, but for the most part I never would crave soada and always order water in restaurants. I can't imagine wasting calories that I could use on amazing food!0

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Never could stand them. And the Reese's Pieces? I actually think I would throw up if I had to eat them. And Gummi Bears, marshmallow "peanuts" and Neco Wafers are utterly revolting. I think repulsive candy is my theme tonight. Actually, I wasn't much for candy ever.0

I don't crave chips or anything with salt. It's actually bad because I need more salt in my diet (I faint otherwise, I think it has to do spiking blood pressure? My doc suggested adding salt and it worked magically.).
I love pizza, bacon, and ice cream but I don't crave them. I can go months without them and not notice.
Actually, I don't crave anything besides chocolate and sweet granola.0 -
Anything without chocolate.0

Chips, crackers, and alcohol.0

hmm ~ I can live without soda, always been a big ice water drinker. Cake & sweets I'm ho hum about. Carbs & savory were my passion. As example my fav restaurant meal was fried calamari appetizer followed by a huge plate of lobster ravioli in pink vodka sauce with shrimp and loads of buttered Italian bread to sop up extra sauce, and a couple of margaritas ~ mmmmm. You could hold dessert0

I can honestly say that, since I have been attempting to optimize my nutrition, I don't actually crave any of the "sinful" foods. Now, I find that I only crave "angelic" foods. Strange, isn't it? Right now, I'm craving a baked sweet potato with full-fat yogurt and a dash of cinnamon on top. But it is too late to eat. I think I will have it for lunch tomorrow!0
-
Beer, since I moved onto the wine I don't miss it.0

I don't really crave anything, as long as it's available. Like, when I lived in Scotland for a year in the mid '80s, you couldn't get good salsa. I was jonesing for it bad. And this year, we were in Finland for almost 6 months. Some wonderful food, but no Nacho Cheese Doritos (the ones sold under that name at Subway were NOT). I don't have to have Doritos very often if they're right there at the grocery store. Not being *able* to have them? Pure torture.0

What "sinful" foods can you live without?
Hi!
I'm taking the definition of "sin" from the bible verse/text of Scripture:
James 4:16-17
13 Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” 14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. 15 What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.” 16 Otherwise you are boasting about your own plans, and all such boasting is evil.
17 Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.
So Man! Based on this verse, for ME...MY personal sinful things are--(NOTE: this verse is NOT one size fits all...it's individual)--therefore for ME, sinful things to eat and drink are:
Coffee, meats (other than small farm/humanely raised grass fed beef & soy-free humanely small farm raised organic eggs poultry & wild caught and pole/troll caught seafoods), no pork, dairy, fast foods, junky highly processed sugary sweets and junk type of foods.... BEFORE reading this Verse, I would have said the things I avoid, because I don't crave them anymore:
Soda/pop, store bought juices, ice cream....BUT...the foods listed above is sinful--for me!
Thanks for posting this question...you ROCK and have given me something to "chew" and pray about--seriously!

I don't crave chips or fruity candy. (that said, if you stick a bowl of specifically bbq Pop Chips in front of me I will inhale it).
I can also walk right by most chocolate.
...I do have a weakness for cupcakes, dark chocolate, and coffee-flavored anything.
The only time I crave soda, it's Coke, and only with popcorn. (I also use a little Coke to settle my stomach if I'm feeling ill, but that's not a craving)0 -
All dressed chips and black licorice!0
