Try sitting down, then standing up really fast. Its about the best you can hope for and about the same sensation.0

First and foremost, practice jumping, it is a coordinated movement so you have to practice it. Use your arms to jump!
You can also get going on squads, deadlifts and learn to do some power cleans or power snatches. These will help you learn to open up your hips fast.
