First thing you should do is measure. Weight loss is not always a tell all on whether or not your are losing fat or not. Another suggestion I would have is take a look at your goals. I don't know your height/weight, but 1250 is a pretty low calorie goal for most. It's possible that your calorie goal is too low and your body is holding onto the calories it gets as stored bodyfat. I know that it is a difficult concept for people that not eating enough can actually keep you from losing weight.

My first question is, are you eating enough? I know it sounds odd, but with the workouts you really should make sure you get enough. If you are only eating 1200 calories a day and you body wants 1800-2000 then you are forcing your body to slow down metabolism. I learned by doing. At each plateau I hit I was able to up my calories and saw an immediate loss the following week.

Eat more. Just like your car, your body needs fuel. Food is fuel. Eat more.

Before finding MFP and the advice here, I was eating 1200-1400 cals a day, working out 4-5 days a week and I was stalled at 196-8 for over a month. I took the advice posted here and started eating more. I calculated my BMR and my TDEE (search if you dont know these terms). Just to survive while laying in bed all day, my body needs 1600 cals (my BMR). To maintain my weight based on my activities, I need 2300 cals (my TDEE). I eat 1600+ cals (on workout days I eat more to compensate for the cals burned) and I have lost weight. I have done this for a week now and finally lost 2 lbs.

Your really need to eat more. It truly does work.
