Pasta Cooking Water...

Help!? The recipe I used did not list nutritional info - grrr! It called for adding 2/3 cup of the pasta cooking water in with the rest of the dish to make a sauce. Does anyone have any idea how many calories I should attribute to this? I use this method fairly regularly, so it would be great to know. The water was salted and it must contain some starch from the pasta...

I assume the recipe includes the pasta cooked in this water? The calories from any starch that ends up in the liquid will already be included in the calories you list for the pasta itself. Salt content is a crapshoot. No one can tell how much sodium will be in the water but you, having salted it.
