30 day shred - mild back pain?

I'm only just on day 5 level 1 after years of no exercise, but I woke up this morning with a sort of twinge in my mid-right back (not my lower back which I thought would be more common) which I only noticed when I started doing jumping jacks.
Any idea if bad technique in any of the level 1 exercises could cause this? Or maybe I just slept funny lol.
Should I try and do some back exercises to stretch the muscles out or just have a break before it gets worse?

I'd try gentle back stretches, they normally work for me0

I had this same thing happen yesterday and it sounds like the same place. I thought I'd ignore it and push through it today.
Well, now it's worse. I may have to take a day off from 30D shred.0 -
So I took a day off and exercised (with some modifications I thought would go easy on my back) yesterday, now it hurts again.
I've been trying to research exercise I CAN do but some places say to go for a run, which is exactly what makes my back hurt in the first place. Jumping/running and twisting (getting on and off the floor).
I suppose I'll have to stop 30ds for a few days or something, but are there any exercises I can carry on with? I was looking forward to doing this today: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=4195843&page=1
It isn't particularly easy to go by the pain as an indicator as it's a sort of dull ache at the moment and didn't actually hurt when I damaged it, it was the day after I noticed something was wrong. Not even sure HOW I hurt it.0
