Things people have suggest me to lose weight:
-Diet Pills
-Oatmeal Water everyday
-Ginger tea w/ honey every night
-Pineapple water everyday
- ONLY fruits everyday!
- Just water for 3 days out of the week! (now I think this person was trying to kill me)
- a cabbage Soup diet
Honestly why do people want to lose weight so fast! There is no magical diet that can actually help you lose the weight you need to lose and maintain it, in a healthy way. I rather eat 1200-1500 calories a day of healthy stuff and lose 1-2 pounds a week than to hurt my body and lose "5-10" in a week.
What have people suggest you to do??

Chewing gum, apples and diet coke only for two weeks. Yep, I said it.

Good for you for talking common sense! I wholeheartedly agree. Will we get frustrated when we don't lose as much as we hoped in a month? Yes. Will we stay healthy and keep the weight off by using balance/variety/moderation. Absolutely.

lmao i did slim fast for a month and GAINED weight! that stuff is loaded with sugar and tastes like crap anyway!2 -

I used to be one of those people who liked to lose weight fast, but I ALWAYS gained it back. This time, I'm eating my way to skinny. It's slow going, but it's working - and maybe I'll keep it off! I usually do Atkins (low carb). I'm still watching carbs, but I'm not obsessed with it.

"when you want a cookie, think about how skinny you'll be."
Ummmm no, I don't WANT to be skinny, I want to be healthy, physically AND mentally, so if you'll excuse me, I'll have that cookie now.7 -

It's taken me a long time but I'm finally starting to realise that it's not about losing weight fast, it's about changing yourself into a slim person. Think about it this way - large people:
* eat too much
* eat the wrong sorts of things
* move too little
Slim people:
* eat the right amount
* eat the right kinds of things
* move the right amount
My goal is to stop being in the first category and start being in the second category. How does cayenne and lemon water fit into that? Answer - it doesn't, so it has no place in my "becoming a slim person" plan. It might help you lose 20lbs, but you'd put it right back on again because you hadn't changed your large person habits into slim person habits.6
