Drink organic cherry juice after your work out, takes muscle soreness away0

Harsh, but works every time for me - cold bath after a hard workout, and follow a workout either with cherry juice or protein shake, or just a glass of milk will do :-)0

Thanks, I'll try these! Been limping about all day yesterday haha :P0

I soak in the jacuzzi sometimes, and make sure I do a warm up set before lifting heavy.0

think of it as your body's way of saying "well done! great workout!" (even though your body's possibly actually saying "Oh my days brain, I can't believe you put me through that!!! Here have lots of pain!!! :grumble: ")0

You need to eat or drink some good quality protein within 30 mins of a workout (chicken, tuna, nuts or shakes or even get some BCAA tablets). This helps to feed the muscle and prevent it from breaking down and helps prevent muscle soreness. It's also important to replace the glycogen stores which are used up during exercise. I use Powerbar Recovery Drink and to be honest I only ever get mild muscle soreness now so I can vouch that it does work. I buy it here:

Hope this helps :happy:0 -
A hot bath with epsom salts and some easy stretching0
