    ok, ladies. i am buckling myself down hard. goal for the week is not to keep getting on the scale, just do it and get use to using my cloths fitting as my tool for lose. the scale is too discouraging for me. once a week is a good time frame.

    nothing planned for today. finish up housework and the daily chores. i am going to start throwing stuff out. we just have too much junk around here and i am tired of tripping over it.

    Slow and steady wins the race LOL
    Been super busy girls planning my September Girls trip! (+ babies) hehe

    im plugging along... slowly.......
    Generator got hooked up so i can at least get somewhat sleep at night.... im starting to feel Caught up with it !

    I need to get back into my pointing strict & making time each day for a workout!!!!!!!

    Ive just been SO excessively TIRED ...... and Im so glad i can finally get some sleep with the power thing fixed!

    Quick check-in as I'm in Miami now and getting ready to run and then beach.

    Stepped on the scale on Monday instead of Wednesday and was 1.6 lb down from the week before, and its TOM (BIG TIME). Lots of cramps and excessive bleeding, but hopefully that will settle down. Not fun on a plane ride though..or in putting on a bathing suit. But lots of walking yesterday and a run this morning along the beach should help. Not my ideal dream vacation with my hubby, but he's adaptable and willing to let me rest (oh yeah, still working my 3 to 9 a.m. shift).

    So my goal is to actually be down to 139.9 by next Wednesday since I'm thinking I had about 3 lb of water gain (bloated fingers and abdomen) from my period. Crossing fingers. But I have a wonderful man who is eating healthy with me while we are on vacation and we are more about enjoying what we are eating, not eating for the sake of eating. Not drinking any fruity drinks as that will make me munchy.

    Cathy - I understand about the scale. When I stayed away from the scale, I ended up being more pleasantly surprised when I weighed in than the fluctuation from day to day (or hour to hour). You are going to keep doing great this week!

    Amy (baha) - Good job on the weight loss. I think the summertime sometimes makes it hard to concentrate on nutrition with all the running around. But you are doing wonderful.

    Tiff - Great job as always :)

I have been a member of sixers for quite some time, but right now I am working at a High Adventure camp in the Florida Keys known as Florida Sea Base as a Divemaster (scuba) and I dont get great internet so I have been really distant, but hello!!!

    Went to the doctor... found out I have a lump in my breast(and the doctor is concerned). Remaining as positive as I can, but I am a little worried. (Not super worried though, I guess... I mean I trust God knows what he's doing) I'll keep you guys updated. Please keep me in your prayers and/or thoughts!

    On a brighter note, I'm still working out hard... My test is Thursday and Friday is my BDAY.

    Well, I stayed the same. Good and bad. But I did start that TOM for the first time in 5 months so staying the same is fine by me!

    I am going to CO on Thursday to see my cousin and I am sure that I will be indulging some but we also have a hike planned in teh CO mountains so maybe that will counter act it all.

    good morning ladies...

    i ate yesterday. it was a planned eating day. worked good. may do that more often. didn't feel as guilty. stayed off the scale which helped. otherwise i would continue. but, i had been craving things and used it as my day to eat them.

    have the repair man coming today, toilet keeps running (yea i know need to catch it). but, water bill has doubled from it. it happened before. meeting with broker this afternoon. bible study tonight.

    off to get things done.

    So update, I am great! baking cookies at the moment, cuz its my day off! Yay, doing laundry, baking cookies, and then going tanning this afternoon to try and even out my awful 1 piece tan lines.. plus to boot just found out my parents are coming to visit on the 31st!! SOOO EXCITED!

    Oh Tiff!!!!! (((hugs))) The doctor is just doing their part to be overly concerned. It could be a cyst or just a lumpy fat deposit. PLEASE try not to worry!! I know that is easier said than done, but please remember that worry doesn't accomplish anything but only stresses your body more. My thoughts and prayers are with you!!

    Court custody hearing was supposed to be yesterday but was canceled due to the attorneys (yes, both sides) being sick. It should be rescheduled but I have no idea when.

    I'm exhausted. I need a vacation from life. I need the ocean. It's so soothing.

    I didn't weigh in yesterday or this morning. I've been binge eating at night from stress. Today, my stress has gotten so bad that I have no appetite. That is a sure sign I'm nearing my breaking point.... so I'm taking measures to relieve some stress tonight. I'm gonna grab up Kiddo and go swimming. I think I'm going to cancel my gym membership to free up a few extra dollars a month to help my financial situation, since I'm not using the membership anyhow. I just can't seem to get back into the swing of things.

    I'm sorry I haven't been around more, ladies. I think of you all so very often. My Sixers have been the most supportive group ever, and I hate that I'm constantly MIA, but I know you all are so very understanding.

    Praying for you Tiff! My doctor found a small lump in my breast about 2 years ago. I had an ultrasound and it turned out to be a cyst. Keep positive thoughts in your mind, and hopefully it will all turn out fine.

    It's so hot here today. I have no motivation to go to the gym, so I think I'm going to buy myself a HRM instead. A lady in my tennis class had one on Saturday and I was fascinated by it. Anybody in this group have/use one?

    I splurged big time and bought a Garmin HRM/Watch with GPS. I run a lot, so I thought having the distance calculator on there would be nice to have. Now if I could only find the motivation to go for a run in the mornings before it gets too hot...

    Hubby and I went to the county fair yesterday for lunch. YUM! However, I felt kind of lethargic for the rest of the day. I guess my body has been getting used to having healthier foods, and when I eat crap, I feel like crap afterwards. Going to try to do much better today! Plus I am going to the gym later, no excuses!

    don't forget to wear your HRM at the gym. you be surprised at what you burn.....i feel the same way when i eat crap. (like the last few days). my legs are hurting. wonder hmmm.

    just finished wk1 of c25k. try this again. needed to get moving. i feel crappy when i don't move. it's just doing it.

    off to shower and get ready for the day. lots on the agenda today.

    Does anyone have any ideas? I have been dragging my wagon lately. Trying to get atleast 7 hours of sleep each night. Cutting back on caffiene drinks in the afternoon and moving more. But I still feel really wiped out.

    laurie...maybe a vit. i know when your vit D is low it can cause you to be tired. i have low vit. D i have to take 2000 mg daily to get it back up. or your iron levels could be low, or just the heat.

    was in training with broker for 3 1/2 hours. he goes over and over the same stuff, move on already.

    dinner in the oven, having baked fried chicken. veggies and rice. what are you having?

    need to get some things done,
