Walking in heat vs. walking in cold

Options
I live in Michigan and our weather fluctuates on an hourly basis. One day I'll walk 3mph for an hour and not sweat at all because it's cooler outside, but another day I'll walk 3mph an hour and will sweat a ton because it's hot out.

What I'd like to know is......should I put more calories in MFP for walking if I'm sweating a lot?

Sweating does not = calories burned.

NO...Sweating is not an indication of how many calories you burn...It will be the same....

I don't think so. You are sweating and your heart rate may be elevated to disperse the heat from your body but you are not working any harder. I think the opposite may be true. When it's very cold you are wearing heavy clothing and you need to burn extra calories to stay warm

Yes. Also log every time you fart as 1 calorie.
