Proper amount of cals a day??

MFP have suggested 1200 but has i see, so do they for most ppl. I have also saw that some people who stick to this dont lose or even gain weight. Can any point me in the directioof finding out my ideal daily amount...??

MFP suggested me 1200 net calories too, and I read some threads and some websites and decided to change that to 1100. However, I find it pretty hard to stay *under* 1100 - mainly because I don't exercise enough =/ I'm already at 1073 calories today and I won't be going to bed for 3 hours... and i'm hungry!0

mfp recommended 1200 for me also but change4life said to have 1400 and that is working quite nicely for me. the weight loss is not fast but it is steady and that suits me !!!0

Thanks for replying i have been looking on the net and found something called TDEE??? Correct me if im wrong!

So re-tried slightly tweeking amd then this
2468 cals... Even more shocking..
Even with taking the amount of that you do (so many percent i think)
I hope i can find right amount soon0
