    I've managed several online communities and forums and am running one now.

    This community is no different than any other. The perceived anonymity empowers folks to say things they'd never say to your face. I try not to let it bother me. But it does.

    There's nothing really to be done about it, unless the moderators choose to boot people who cross the line. And I'm loathe to do that b/c that line can be subjective. Most people are truly trying to be helpful, even many of the bullies. They just don't realize they're being bullies.

    Well, I've never been known for following the best idea, but I sure do have some fun along the way. You are right though, chains may be a little much for a dinner date, maybe just a nice synthetic rope or go green and bring some hemp rope. Bishes love hemp rope.
