Fitbit Flex - Any Opinions?

Hey all! Does anyone have a Fitbit Flex? I saw the ad and it looks intriguing! Wondering if its worth the money or if I should go with maybe the Fitbit One instead or perhaps even something else completely.

Whaddya think?

    Interesting that Best Buy has them out already...I wish I had thought to look last week when I was there. I might have to stop again this weekend, I want the Flex really bad-and it looks like it won't be out through fitbit.com before my Tough Mudder in a month

    I preordered mine from Best Buy. Got the email about it being ready today. Can't wait to play with it

    Awesome! It was showing unavailable at my local stores yesterday, and there it is in stock today! Gonna run over and check it out. I know hubby wont mind inheriting my Ultra because he's currently using my original, which he had to super glue together.

    Damn, the Best Buys in Canada don't seem to have them yet. But I'm going to Vegas in about a week so hopefully I can pick one up there. :wink:

    It's much more than a pedometer to me. I get the weekly reports sent to my email stating how many net calories were lost/gained over the week, average daily amount of steps or mileage, etc. I find this VERY useful. It's kind of idiot proof for me which I like. It gives the total calories burned over the day, rather than just walking calories, so I know how many calories I can consume and still lose. I love it. A cheap pedometer would do nothing for me.

    I have the FitBit One (had the Ultra also)... I didn't go with the wristband one since I play volleyball and I wear my FitBit during. Having it on my wrist just wouldn't work.

    However, if I didn't use it for volleyball, I probably would have gotten one!

    I'm with you, I kinda like the fact that I can hide my Ultra on my bra PLUS it has the digital display. I heard the Flex doesnt disply.

    Damn!! Have been waiting for the flex to come out for ages, finally gave up on Wednesday and ordered a Jawbone Up band. I knew this would happen lol!!

    Hey guys! I have had a Jawbone UP band since January and I am liking it! After becomming very interested in fitness trackers...FitBit caught my eye. Does anyone think that it is worth it to try out the FitBit Flex or any of their products? I have heard different things as to whether one is more accurate over the other. What's your opinion on the step acuracy of the UP vs Flex? I think I want to try it out!

    I had an Fitbit Ultra, and my dog chewed it up. I've been waiting for the Flex to come out. I didn't realize that they were out at Best Buy. How much are they?

    It's $99. Just got home from Best Buy with the slate color. They didn't have the package of multi-colored wristbands yet so it will have to look dull for a while. It will be strange to be without the display since I'm so used to the One, but I figure I can return it if I really hate it. I always lose the other one (in the washer once...was shocked it actually recovered) so the wristband should be a big help.

    Just got home with my Fitbit Flex. Amazingly enough, the small wristband actually fits me. Woohoo! I've set up my account and I've calculated my stride with my treadmill, so as soon as it's done charging, I'm ready to go!

    I got mine from a Best Buy store this morning. I have never used a Fitbit before so I have no frame of reference, but so far I am LOVING it

    hi everyone! i got the flex bit band yesterday today i've been wearing it.. the only thing is that i dont understand the whole thing about the calories i've burned and how its supposed to sync to my fitness pal. i cant use my phone to sync i would have to use the computer since my phone is outdated.. :( i wont get an upgrade until october but i still wanted the flex so bad. how does the whole estimated calories work on here? would it update when i complete my food log for the day? im so confused. :sad:

    Just bought mine today! Its on the charger now. Going to retire my pink Zip that I usually wear on my bra. I initially had the one and loved it but it didnt sync to the phone back when I bought it. I want to track my sleep because Ive noticed I have my biggest losses after Ive had a solid 8 hours. I think this is just one more piece of the puzzle of understanding my own body and how it works :)

    I bought the Fitbit One just because I'd prefer to not wear a wristband. Personally, I love it, but it's tiny so if you get one be careful if you're prone to losing things.

    I'm on day 2 with the Flex and I still miss my One. I loved my flower and being able to see my steps on the display. I did like the sleep tracking with the Flex, and I'm getting used to the wristband, although it's a pain to clasp. It just feels like a step down from the One in many ways, although at least I won't lose it, which I am prone to do.

    Bought the flex yesterday and have been trying ever since to get it set up. NOTHING. I'm computer savy and still can't get it to work. Have even followed to the letter, Fitbit's website instructions NOTHING. I do believe I will be returning it!

    I love my FitBit One! I like how I can clip it on and forget about it. I think having something on my wrist all day would be annoying, and there's no display!

    It sounds like you got a defective one. I didn't have too much trouble setting mine up, other than the fact that there's no manual so you have to go online for instructions. The only glitch I had was that the app totally frozen my Android phone (no trouble on my iPad Mini), and now it's working just fine and syncing away.

    I have the original Fitbit (3rd one - the first of which I dropped in a pool and the second one I left in a hotel) I LOVE this thing!!! I feel naked when I forget to put it on. Not sure about the Flex but I really have no need to change from my original one.
    Sunshinestate: call or email the company with your issue ... I had a problem with one of mine and these guys have excellent customer service. I am not a rep or related to this company in any way - just very appreciative of how wonderfully they took care of my issues.
