    .

I like to sub coconut almond milk for regular milk because it has less sugar (i avoid soy)
I use frozen berries or frozen peaches
    sometimes half a banana
    Kefir or Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
Grind up some flax seeds in your coffee grinder and dump some in (whole does you no good, it will go right through you and you will not get the benefits of the seeds)
I have put a little fish oil in my them before because I can't stand the taste unless it's masked, you barely taste it in the smoothie.
You can put a few leaves of frozen spinach (don't go overboard)
Of course I use some protein powder. The best one i have used was ultraclear plus ph, but it's pricy.

I would really love making more smoothies, but I haven't tried many combinations yet!

I always love the trusty banana, splash of milk, vanilla nonfat Greek yogurt, almonds, pb2, and a couple ice cubes combination though.

    I have 2 favorites right now;
    1) Chocolate Shakeology, ice, 8 oz of Almond Milk and 1 TBS of Peanut Butter - tastes just like a brownie blizard!
    2) Strawberry Shakeology, ice, 8 oz of Red Trop50 OJ, and 4 oz of vanilla yogurt - tastes like sherbert, good for summer.

frozen bananas, milk and ground flax seed. when you freeze your bananas, make sure they're over ripe. you won't need any other sweetener.

This one is more of a "treat" smoothie:

    1 frozen banana
    1 tablespoon almond butter
2 medjool dates (pits removed, obviously)
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup almond milk (dairy allergy...use whatever milk you want!)
optional: 1 scoop "natural" flavored protein powder

It tastes like a cinnamon bun!!

My favorite is my Soul Refresher Smoothie: 1 apple, 1/2 cuke (seeded), 12 coconut water (with pulp), 2 t raw honey, hemp protein powder, 1 scoop chia seed, 1 lemon (zest and juice). MMMMM! I use this one after a workout or run to pick me back up :D

My other fave is my Oscar the Grouchless - I use it for breakfast every morning. 2 c lettuce, 1 apple, 12 oz almond coconut milk, 1 lemon (zest and juice), hemp protein powder, 5 T goji berries, 1 T raw Honey, 2 large strawberries . Kind of carrot colored but thick and yummy :D
