Hey guys.
I'm finding it really difficult to lose weight, It's exam season so i can't really go to the gym to be honest because it just takes up so much of my time, but recently i did start doing pilates! I've been eating 1200 calories a day and i've just stayed on the same weight! Well my weight keeps fluctuating from 79.7-78.8 I gained some weight too and i lost that with ease, within a week of just eating healthier! ( i gained about 2 kg a couple of weeks ago but have lost that now). But every time my weight goes down, and i'm still ating 1200 calories it goes back up to 79.6 again! I'm obsessed wtih weighing myself everyday too and sometimes i see it go down and then sometimes i seee it go up and i don't see how the foods i eat do that?
As i don't really have much time to exercise atm except for squats, some pilates and maybe some walks 3-4 times a week what can i do? I really wanted to shift atleast 5kg before my birthday next month ! And i've been eating healthy for 3 weeks and not much change

Open your food diary so folk can see your food choices, could be what you consider "healthy" may not be0

I am a mom so I have to say this. 1) do not obsess with the scale focus on getting healthy, and 2) get past exams. Stress does NOT help in losing weight. Lets see what you are eating. Are you maybe munching a bit while studying?
I do not weigh in everyday our bodies (especially girls) can change too much depending on our time of month.
Take care

I've opened up my diary to the public now. I had one day where i didn't eat that great but didnt go over by too much! But sometimes i realise i go over protein and sugar a lot from cereals (i've swapped to cornflakes now or having a banana smoothie) but what do i do about protein?0

I'm not munching any extra food other than my 3 meals a day! And i do need to try and not weigh myself every day i guess! a bit obsessed at the moment! I just feel as if it motivates me to eat healthier if i do put on some weight
Thanks for the advice0 -
Are you sure your food measurements are accurate?
Also, have you tried increasing your calorie intake (after checking that you're accurate at the moment) up to about 1400/1500?
Sometimes having too low an intake can restrict weight loss.0 -
Also, maybe invest in a cheap pedometer and try and reach 10,000 steps a day, this will increase your calorie burn by about 450 calories compared to a sedentary lifestyle. This, coupled with 1500 calories of food should give you a good calorie deficit without being unhealthy!0
