How did it go for those that started today?

I had a minor snafu with my Blackberry, but other than that.... I DID IT!

I think someone here says she puts her BB in her sports bra and I thought that was a great idea. It fit right between the girls and I barely knew it was there... until it slipped through the band of my sports bra in the middle of jogging interval 4. When I pulled it out I accidentally stopped the podcast ( I'm using DJ Steve) and I couldn't restart it where I left off. Fortunately, I also had the C25K Blackberry App, so I just used that for the next 4 intervals as a timer.

According to my HRM I went 1.87 miles this morning. Yeah me!!

    I did mine last night! 1.76 miles and 154 calories burned! I found a great app, too, and love it. Much easier....no worries about timing. YEA US! :happy:

    I was hoping to do W1D2 today, but alas, we stayed out real late last night so I slept in this morning. I WILL DO IT tomorrow! :-)

    Also, I'm the one who sticks it in her sports bra, I find that if I stick it not between the girls, but on the side it never moves. But it can't interfere with my arm swing. :-)

    Way to go!!
    I did W2D2 today, and was surprised at how much easier it was than day 1---but the temp and humidity is way less today.

    I t has been fun for me, and I have gotten encouragement from many people outside of mfp.
    It is a great program

    How are you figuring calories burned???

    And hey... there is still a lot of today left to get your D2 in. Do it!!!

    I use my treadmill...I program all the info in, and it gives me the calories burned. It's too humid here in Houston to run outside. People do, but I think it's crazy...too hard to breathe!

    My first day went well too! Realized that I had downloaded the wrong podcast (note: will be downloading the proper ones tonight). Everything went well. Started getting a stitch in my right side and right shoulder about mid way...then realized that I was clenching my fists and my posture so I relaxed my shoulders and hands and it got progressively better. I got home took a little rest and had dinner. I was doing fine then all of a sudden my legs cramped up! Eeeek! I had protein for dinner and eventualy drank a gatorade. Surprisingly this morning my legs are fine! Ready for the next run!!

    According to my HRM, I walked/ran 1.9 miles (3.11 km) in 30 mins. Total 221 calories!!
